Jacob's Thanksgiving Feast at School

Jacob had a Thanksgiving Feast at his school.  So Hayden and I were able to go help out and hang with him and his friends for a little while.  Scott had to go to work during that time, but we still had fun.  Jacob is so sweet and nice to all his friends.  I don't know why he doesn't stay that way with his sister at home.  One of these days he will realize it is not worth fighting with his sister all the time.  Here are some pictures of the event.

Taylor's Field Trip

Taylor and I went on her school field trip to a tree farm.  They told us and showed us how they did everything around the farm.  The kids were able to learn, go on a hay ride and feed the donkey a carrot.  Taylor made sure to tell her friends that she already knew how to feed a donkey, because she knows how to feed a horse.  Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Allen who has educated her in the proper way to feed a horse a snack!!  :-) Taylor and I had a lot of fun.  I didn't realize Taylor was such a smarty pants at school.  She definetly didn't get that from me.  I was never one to raise my hand and always hoped they would never call on me.  Anyways, we had fun together and here are just a few of the pictures I took that day.

The Kid's Drawings

The kids made these beautiful pictures for Scott and I and so I just had to share with everyone.  Taylor has been drawing people lately and Jacob wanted to give it a try.  I think they both have done a great job on their pictures.

Trick or Treat

I just realized that I forgot to post our cuties in their Halloween costumes. Jacob was Batman, Hayden was a cute little teddy bear (thanks Laurie...for the costume), and Taylor was a pink kitty. I don't know why she wanted to be a kitty again, but this year she was a pink one and not a black one. First we went to Na-Na's house down the street.  Then our friends Christy and Terry with their two boys Trent and Tate came over and we did the neighborhood hay ride trick or treating with a party at the end. The kids seems to really enjoy themselves and so did we. Here are some pictures of that evening.

Jacob's Early Birthday Party!

We decided at the last minute to have Jacob's birthday party a little early...like a month early actually. He wanted to have it at our church where they have a huge play area with a rock climbing wall, but it was booked for the next 3 months. So, his next choice was Chuck E. Cheese. He said he loved his party with all his friends. It was a little sad for me because Melissa and the kids were not there. I don't know if I will ever get used of them not being there. She never ever missed one of the kids special occassions...until they had to go and move away! It was really nice having my mom there, I know Jacob enjoyed it too. He hung out with Nana when Chuck E. Cheese came out to sing, because he became afraid of Chuck E. Here are a few of the many pictures I took of Jacob's special day!!

My Silly Kiddos!!

I am sitting here at the computer minding my own business, when I hear the kids start some really loud music as Hayden is asleep in bed. I turn around and find my silly kids dancing and singing. Scott and the kids used to dance almost every night together for 2-3 songs. They haven't done this in awhile, so I was really suprised they did it on their own tonight. The kids have so much fun being silly with daddy and singing to Jesus! Once the kids saw me bust out the camcorder to catch them in action, they started being really silly as you will see. Taylor tries to copy Scott and spin on her back. Scott can actually do this pretty good. I will have to catch him on video the next time he does it. Anyways, here are our silly kiddos!

I Couldn't Resist!

I thought this was the cutest thing! Jacob left the refrigerator door open and Hayden just decided to help himself. He found himself an apple that we had cut out of for the bunnies. It looked like he ate about 1/4th of the apple with his little piranha teeth of his. Here are a few pictures of the little guy in action.
