I love his little smile here...its almost like he is unsure whether to smile or not because he is trying to figure out if he is going under or able to stay up. Taylor is so good about watching him. He loves being in the pool. Next year his floaties should fit him better.

September Post
Just thought I would add a few pictures of the kids that I thought were cute. Hayden loves loves loves trains. So this is a common image we see in our house. Jacob is pretty good about helping him get it set up. What a little cutie!!
So...Scott decided to buy two NON working golf carts that looked really bad and made this out of it. I knew he could do it, cuz he can fix almost everything. The only problem I had was that I knew he would be spending hours in the garage working on these dumb things and not spending those hours with me!! Anyways, he did it in about a week or so. It wasn't all that bad, but I am very happy that it is done. The kids loved riding around in it for the little while we had it. Now, it is at the deer lease so they don't get to do it too often.
This is one of the last times the kids were able to swim. It was kinda cool this day, but that didn't stop them. Hayden has been in the pool several times, but this is the first time he had floaties and on his own. He loved it and the other two were close behind him.

Our friends from Texas came to visit and we had a nice relaxing time. The kids were so good about playing and staying busy while us adults could hang out. They have 3 as well and so each kid had their own playing buddy. This is Olivia driving Hayden around in the hummer. We really loved having them visit, especially since we don't get to see them that often.

First Day of School
First day of school went sooo well for all the kids. Taylor started 2nd grade and the boys started Mothers Day Out at Trinity. I was so surprised how well they all did. Taylor is a pro at it by now and hated the fact that I had my camera with me. The good thing is that I didn't cry this year. Jacob was a little hesitant when we dropped him off, but he has always been that way. He always tells us how much fun he has though when we pick him up. Hayden did good too. This was his first time being away from me, so I thought he would cry, but he didn't!! I'm sure it helped that his teacher is one of our babysitters. Scott and I enjoyed the day as well. Scott was off of work so we were able to spend the day together without the kiddos. We all had a great day!!

Putt Putt Fun
We took the kids to play putt putt and we let Hayden play for the first time. It wasn't as bad as we expected. Hayden wasn't all over the place like we thought he would be. Jacob got a hole in one and Taylor made par in several of them. The kids had a lot of fun...and Hayden was too cute!!

Our Sweet Jacob
I finally had Jacob's 4 1/2 year pictures done, just a few months late. I'm usually so good about getting the kids pictures done every 6 months...well until this time. So our sweet Jacob is almost 5...time flies by sooo fast. He is such a boy! He loves to help Daddy around the house and go to the deer lease whenever he can get out of "school". However, he is such a mommy's boy! He makes sure to call me when he's gone and tell me how much he loves and misses me. Now, if only Scott would do the same. LOL!! Some of his favorite things are trains, horses, swimming and playing with his friends. He loves to be in his pajamas, if it was up to him he would stay in them all day long. Here are a few pictures of our handsome little guy.

Working on the House & Visiting Paw-Paw
We decided that we would start working on the house some, so we started with the kitchen and breakfast floors. They had laminate flooring that was looking pretty bad. Anytime water or juice was on it for any amount of time, it would just leave all these spots on the floor. Scott found some tile he liked so we decided to tackle that first. Jacob and Hayden love to "help". Jacob loves ripping up the house as he calls it, while Hayden just likes to get in the way. Here are a few pictures of my cute little workers.

Had to take a picture of my little gangster boy...he was making me laugh so hard

We went to go visit Scott's dad and step mom in Buffalo Texas for a few days. The kids had fun going out and looking for deer and seeing the cows. Here are a few pictures from our time with them.

Our Time in San Antonio
We headed to San Antonio on Scott's last 2 weeks off before school started. We first took the kids to Sea World and then we spent 2 days at the deer lease. The kids always seem to have fun out there. It was nice because Scott's mom and step dad came out with us and we really enjoyed the time. Well, I say we enjoyed our time...Scott had a few issues while we were out there. Poor guy he decides to take this dumpy old truck out riding around looking for a place to put up a few trail cameras when he gets it stuck in the mud. Then the dumb truck wouldn't even start. So he and Rick (his step dad) walk all the way and pick up the tractor and get the truck out of the mud and they still can't get the truck to work. So they give up and use the Ranger out there until the next morning. The next morning they go back out there and get the truck running and all goes well...for a while anyways. Scott and Rick decide they will go to town and fill it up with gas (since the dumpy truck isn't ours). Mom and I decide we would stay at the camp house to feed and bath the kids and put them to bed. The guys end up calling us and say they are on the side of the road and need us to find a tank and bring them a little gas to get them into town to fill the truck tank. As we are doing this my kids decide they want to play with the lock on the camp house door and they lock us in and all 3 kids are on the outside. Luckily for cell phones I was able to call Scott and get the combination for the door to tell Taylor. Once Taylor released us from the camp prison I was able to go rescue the guys and give them enough gas to get into town. After all the craziness with the truck I think Scott enjoyed himself. Well...after he got peed on all over by a turtle. That was pretty funny. The kids ended up going with Scott and Rick most of the time, so I was able to enjoy myself playing cards with my mother in law. We all had a great time...here are a few pictures of our sea world and lease fun!!
