Easter at the Lease

The day after Sea World we went to the deer lease! Scott just got on a lease on the outskirts of San Antonio (thanks to me)! Ha! Ha! Just had to point that out! I don't know what I was thinking when I did it! Anyways, we went there and meet Scott's mom and step-dad to celebrate Easter together. The kids had a blast! They ran around and played hard all day. They also went fishing, painted Easter eggs, and made smores that night. The next morning was Easter and they played hard again. They were able to hunt for their baskets in the morning and then hunt for eggs later that day. We went out to the pond to go fishing and look for turtles and frogs. I don't think my kids have ever been as dirty as they were these 2 days we stayed at the lease. I think it took me a week to actually get them dirt free. LOL!! It was a really nice family day. Scott made a yummy brisket and so it was even better that I didn't have to cook!! It was really nice getting to hang out with the family and watching the kids have so much fun!
