Halloween

Here are our little trick or treaters. Taylor is a Charm School Girl, Hayden is Superman, and Jacob is the Night Fury from How to Train Your Dragon. Taylor was not into it too much, but was complaining of a tummy ache. Jacob started off good and then slowly started taking off his costume. First he took off the wings because they were in his way. Then he took of the mask because he was getting too hot. Last of all, he took off the tail because it kept falling off. We tried talking him into getting a different costume, but his heart was set on the Night Fury. Hayden did so great for his first real trick or treating. This was the first time he walked up to the door on his own and would say "trick or treat" and than "thank you." He did so good walking the entire time. He would get on the hayride for a little and than get down and walk up to the doors. I kept asking him if he wanted me to help him carry his bag and he would always tell me "no mommy, I carry bag!" So towards the end you see him dragging it, because it was getting to heavy for him. I think he knew if Scott or I carried it we would eat some of it! Ha! Ha!

Kids Pictures

Here are a few pictures we had done. The photographers we use also make these cute posters and so I had them make one for Taylors room to match her room. It turned out so cute. I loved it!! Here are some other pictures that they took mainly of the boys for their birthdays. Jacob did great because he loves his picture taken...Hayden is another story. We all tried so hard to get him to smile and he didn't want any part of it. So most of his picures are without smiles...but I think they are still so cute.

Jacob's School Fall Festival and Oct Misc

Jacob and Hayden's School has a Fall Festival every year and so Jacob was able to dress up and play games at school. Hayden was too young this year to participate, but he will be able to do it next year. Jacob was so excited to get his Batman costume on and head to school. When I told him to go and brush his hair he told me " Mom, its just sticking up because I was just flying around." It was too cute!!

Here is our little batman

Haunted Gingerbread House & The Pumpkin Patch

Jacob loves making the gingerbread house at Christmas time, so when Scott saw that there was a haunted gingerbread house he bought it for the kids. They enjoy spending the time together working on it. Hayden even got involved by eating some of the pieces while they were trying to put it together. We thought it turned out pretty cute!!

The Boys Birthday Party

Here is the boys birthday invitation. I thought it was so cute!!! Thanks to Katie who takes our pictures and does all these cute invitations and Christmas cards that we have. Anyways, the boys had a blast at the party. Hayden kept going and going without a nap!! He loved the jump and all the attention!! Jacob kept busy with his friends as well. When I asked him what his favorite part of the birthday party was he said "everything." The boys both wanted train cakes. I figured since I was combining their birthday party the least I could do is let them each have their own cake. We got online and looked at train cakes. It was funny how both of them loved to look at all the cakes. Since then Hayden still asks to see train cakes. We let them both pick out cakes they liked and a lady in Moss Bluff made them. She did such a great job!! They were really yummy too. We loved having Scott's brother and his family here with us. They came the night before and brought the newest member of their family. A baby javelina named Roxy. You can see her on the last picture. Anyways, here are some pictures of the party!!
